“Don't be afraid of death; be afraid of an unlived life. You don't have to live forever, you just have to live.” -Tuck Everlasting

I really the book Tuck Everlasting and this quote from it. It is one of my favorite quotes because sometimes it’s so easy to waste your time being scared of the future or death instead of actually living your life. If you spend your time worrying about dying, you will never live, which is basically just do what you like and don't stress about pointless things. This quote is nice reminder to stop worrying and start living which we all need sometimes.

  1. I agree with this quote and Katie's views on it, I think that one of the most important characteristics a person can have in life is having the confidence to do things that they are afraid of. I think the only things you will regret is not having done anything you wanted to, and also of stepping on someone to get to where you want to be. I think one of the worst gifts would be to live forever because you might just put everything off because you have forever to get around to it.

  2. I really like this quote and what you said about it. I agree that people are too caught up in their futures (especially now) and don't enjoy the moment. Even though our futures are really important, we shouldn't be bundled up all day worried about where our lives will lead us. God forbid something actually does happen to us. Would you rather of spent your last day in fear of this incident that you have no idea will occur or be happy and content? People will always have fear and concerns pressed in the back of their mind but there is no need to stress about how great your future will be when you are not going to even have a past.
